Stairs Passage

No. 1 Stairs Passage

15th – 16th century, alterations carried out in 1860
Rectangular building (ground floor, floor and attic) situated with the short side to the Stairs Passage. The facade presents windows with shutters. Ridged roof with two eye skylights. The basement is covered by a cylindrical vault.
For short time at the begining of the 20-th century, Viktor Hess has moved his factory here.

No. 2 Stairs Passage

15th – 16th century, alterations carried out in 1860
The building is made up of two wings, connected by an arch wall. The older building (from the right side) was built around the 17th century.

The wall of the right wing is connected to the wall of citadel’s precinct through a massive butant. The yard’s pavement is made of river stone with a channel in the middle.

Rectangular building (ground floor, floor and attic) situated with the short side to the Stairs Passage.
One room have stuccos from the 18th century.

Stairs Passage

No. 4 Stairs Passage

15th – 16th century, alterations carried out in the 18th century
Three wings building. The wing attached from  Pasajului street has a rectangular shape and it is made up of a basement, and a high ground floor built towards the yard, because  of the down-grade. The basement is covered by a cylindrical vault. 
Pinion pointed roof and very steep slope.

The building was built at the end of the 14th century and at the beginning of the 15th century it was the old Sibiu’s citadel Customs building- in front of the gate towards the old City Hall. Here they were paying the citadel’s entrance tickets and the taxes for the different products that they brought for sale to the city
