The building is formed of a basement, a ground floor and an attic, its shorter wing looking onto the street. The façade is structured on three lines, displaying on the left hand side the tall portal of the passageway, with a double fold gate presenting geometrical borders. The roof presents on the first level three tall skylights, covered with a three-ridged roof. The second level of the roof has two eye-shaped skylights.

Writer Virgil Vataseanu was born here in 1902 and lived here during his childhood.
