The Main Post Office
Massive house,built on the corner of Mitropoliei and Poştei Streets, occupying two medieval plots. The facade on Mitropoliei is dominated by the corner stucco, with symmetrical treatment, with four arches on the ground floor. The ground floor windows end in a flattened arc, and the one upstairs are rectangular, surmounted by cornices and pediments.
The facade has decorative elements: Gothic attic, scallops, urns and masks on the pediment’s level. Among these, there is a sundial, a relief panel with a young woman receiving a letter, Roman decorative elements and a sharpened pinion with one fleuron on the top
