No. 23, Tipografilor Street

title}

18th century
The symmetrical façade is structured on eight lines at the first floor, the two central lines corresponding at the ground floor to the basket handle arched passageway of the gate. On both sides of the gate we notice three windows with a profiled framework and basket-like, classic grids. The ridged roof has a crest parallel to the façade and four eye-shaped skylights.

The building displays a marble plate reading the following text in Romanian and Hungarian: Petöffy Sándor, the great Hungarian poet and freedom fighter lodged in this house on April 1st, 1849.
